Poltergeist in High Heels

Poltergeist in High Heels
POLTERGEIST IN HIGH HEELS © Music and lyrics by Colin Heppell. Footsteps break the silence. Shadows scare the light. Reflections in the window haunt your eyes at night. Breaking up the rhythm of the previous day. The darkness of the night skies makes me loose my way. Can you hear thunder? The rain hits the ground. You and me shelter. I’ll come around. People passing by me going to God knows where. City lights like silver attracting us all there. Hosing down footpaths. Concrete pavements shine. Poltergeist in high heels shiver down my spine. Tell me that ghost story while we sit round the fire. Say I listen to reason and I won’t think that you’re a liar. You're a liar. Rest for the travelling man gazing up at the stars. Look for something special. Watching life on Mars. Good time big time night time. Who cares if it feels right? Complicated hesitation. After darkness comes the light. Confused reaction. You know you can’t trust your eyes. Start again from square one. Cut those ties. Hosing down footpaths. Concrete pavements shine. Poltergeist in high heels shiver down my spine. Poltergeist in high heels and I feel fine. I feel fine. I feel fine.

[this is good]
Very cool.
Thanks man, all the best to you....
Hello Colin. Just been listening to 'polt in hi heels'. I am trying to recall who
you sound like. Cat Stevens a bit. But I have heard that voice when listening to some of the psychedelic sounds groups in the 60s, but can't think who it is exactly. A very 60s voice, which is good. I have been told that I have a 50s singing voice. Which I agree with. But the point is that you CAN sing and that you have developed your own style. Have you listened to Fritz? Tell me what you think if you do. Am presently thinking of taking my street amps and best guitar to sing/play outside the Colombia Records building near High Street Kensington station. Are you in the London area? Regards, Albert.
